| XPrince – agility under control |
When an organisation starts to realise that it needs methodology how to carry out IT projects, the question arises which methodology to choose. A number of guidelines on project-running have been provided so far, thus the choice – especially when the need has been only just realised, may be difficult. XPrince is a relatively new methodology, which was conceived as a blend of the best features from the other ones. My intention is to try to present and recommend the one in question.

Following the footsteps of other branches, computer science have come up with its own methods of project-running. Pursuit to develop the ideal methodology has already reached its dead-end. Filing and strict division into structures were meant to enhance the quality of project. Is testing worthwhile? This is one of questions made during a conference on Software Quality Assurance Management last August. The answer is more than obvious and the justification of testing does not result from taking care of brand and application quality only, but from simple economical calculations.
